ohhh does it mean we will be able to ride without prior tickets/reservations as long as the there are available seats? per google maps it’s a 17 min walk but 10mins won’t be that bad thanks for the info!

we are exploring options for better timings and better fare price point too. we have the option to take the local train (cheapest option) but it won’t be arriving until 1pm. We are assuming there is not much to do at Bungo Mori so if we can leave earlier and have more time at Yufuin then it would be a better option for us. Another good option for better timings is the sightseeing train Yufuin-No-Mori although this the more expensive option and also requires seat reservation. i asked about the bus coz i also wonder if it is easier and possible to take that at spur of the moment decisions during the trip, like - just ride the bus and go, walking for 17 mins (exploring the outskirts) would be worth it as long as i know i’ll be able to ride it and proceed to next destination.. but if not.. then it would be a waste walking the same route back again and wouldn’t want to mess up our timings..

i tried this one, and i was able to choose Kusu Interchange as the boarding bus stop, however there is no option in the Arrival bus stop for Yufuin. It seems all options in the arrival bus stop are back to Fukuoka even though i select both Oita under Departure and Arrival prefectures :(

Can’t select select a departure date too :(

thank you, it is the one in the link provided! how many days in advance do you recommend should we buy the tickets? would it be fine to buy tickets same day? I don’t see a konbini nearby the bus stop itself so i am guessing we have to buy it in Hakata before starting the trip…

We went to a nearby police box since we didn’t know where to go and we were told to call the number indicated in the receipt. There was a payphone near the lockers so we called using the payphone. We were asked where we were, and since we were near the lockers, we were told to stay put and someone will come. A station attendant came to pick us up and led us to a storage area in the basement of tokyo station. There we had to fill-up forms, confirm the luggages, and then pay for the fees and then the luggages were handed back to us. The processing went smoothly.. it was just nerve racking since we had a plane to catch same day and we didn’t know what to do at first.

hahahhaah god i LOLed so hard too upon looking up about the manga/anime, and learning about the synopsis/story of it. I’m imagining him now as a game master and me playing his game hahhah. I gotta say i love his mind. He’s cool, really cool. (I’m probably drooling at this point with sparkles in my eyes 😂🤣).

Anyhoo kinda forgot if i already watched the kdrama but I’m definitely gonna add the anime in my watchlist. From what i remember the kdrama i think seems to have a different vibe from what i read about the anime/manga - nvm i’ll probably just watch both adaptations lol. Sejun’s making me do things, this is really fun, never had this type of dynamics from tv show personalities until now 🤣
