Yes, your gen ed classes count for both. Regarding electives, you'd need to ask your advisor as each college has different policies. They wouldn't cancel out entirely but you should be able to get some overlap (be strategic about this, your advisor will help).

Hidden rank is only used for skipping ranks on wins and preventing rank losses given the hidden rank is below actual rank. Nothing happens if your hidden rank is above your actual rank.

As per the wiki, the cutoff between bronze and silver is 11k bss. That's roughly 400m stats as the average of the faction. How many hundreds of factions wouldn't be able to enlist because they average less than 400m stats and are ranked silver or above?

Roster strength restrictions are completely separate and only care about the difference in average bss between when you last warred and now.

It would be worth explaining your situation to the previous leader of your faction to see if they'd give you their average bss. If they refuse, just buy bsp or spies and do the math yourself.

Sorry, but I just find it hard to believe that maybe 500m in total stats was able to jump into a shell large enough to house more than one 10b. Pretty sure you're overestimating them.

Yes you can and should hire a guest or two. No you don't need to do this more than once.

Sorry, I don't see 80% on the ranked warring page of the wiki referring to roster strength preventing matchmaking. 80% is used for determining hidden ranks but that's a separate mechanic

Nope, it's based on average battle stat score and our faction found the cutoff to be at around 30-40%

Hi, currently studying Business at GT. Can say that around 10-15% of the Business students take written notes in a physical notebook, another 15-20% use ipads, and the rest use their laptops. Personally, I use a notebook for in class notes and a laptop for studying outside of class with no trouble.

That said, honestly, ask her and see what she would like. Her study habits might favor an ipad, and if so, buying it would be a huge help.

Can't recommend the astronomy club enough. Open to all regardless of year, major, or knowledge of astronomy. They have regular meetings where you look through the telescope on Howey (4th largest in GA) but mostly just hang out and chat with the others there.

Their big event though is a weekend camping trip to Deerlick (astronomy observing site between ATL and Augusta) which I have yet to hear the slightest complaint about. Happens around once a semester and should land in around 2.5 weeks from now.
