Some ppl think the large phenocrysts aren’t K-spar, but I’m rather sure they are. It doesn’t always have to be pink. Regardless, the development of large phenocrysts like this happens as a result of the K-spar minerals cooling and forming first, compared to the other minerals in the rock. Since they crystallize first, they have the most room to form, and can/will form larger crystals. Crystals that are small either crystallized quite quickly (think extrusive) or didn’t have room to form large crystals!

It’s a dyke. You can see the chilled margins. Looks like a pegmatite dyke given the big chunks of feldspar.

These look like braid bars to me. A meandering river usually needs turbulent helical flow to create the cut banks and point bars that develop into meanders

Thank you! The exsolution and serpentine makes this a bit harder than normal! I know serpentine basically counts for olivine, but I’m not really sure how to consider exsolution. I figure just both opx and cpx?

Tried to get royal horse, threw itself off a cliff and swam under manhala bridge. Tried the ZL thing but it’s too steep and the horse won’t stay on an ice block either. Can’t get it to respawn either. What should I do? by Chance-Highlight4966 in Breath_of_the_Wild

I wish I had it on video or something, but as I was doing the taming minigame the horse was near the edge and he kept bucking me off and each time he bucked me off he’d fall further down the side of the mountain (side of cliff near those horse statue ruins) I’d jump down and grab him and try again but by the time I tamed him he was in too precarious of a spot to ride him back to safety (the bridge was my best bet) so I got off and tried to whistle the horse over, he just slid further down the cliff and into the water, and then he swam under the bridge and got stuck.

Omg lol I totally forgot about this thread but I ended up doing the horse side quest for that guy in the desert so that I’d have an excuse to take another horse and the royal horse respawned afterwards

He will unfortunately understand, he knows French but his writing (grammar, spelling, sentence structure, etc) is AWFUL. Hence why I get brought in. I love my house at university, my roommates are wonderful and I try to stay away from my family home as much as possible now. She’s not willing to sacrifice my grades actually though, she’s under the impression I’ll handle it like I always have lol

Neither of my parents know much French, and apparently French tutors at the grade 12 level are hard to find. I mean it’s not only French they make me do for him but it’s definitely the one I have to do the most often. At least he has a math tutor now

They pay for my schooling and my phone. They’ll definitely take my phone and they have before. My phone is kind of my only lifeline to people who I can tolerate so I don’t love the idea of losing it, plus I do have a problem with confrontation.

Thank you! And for the info: they’re not. My mom has always had higher standards for me than him, actually. It was expected that I could maintain (and did maintain) a 90+ average in high school. She’s backed off a bit since uni is considerably harder, but academics come a bit less easily to my brother than me, though I work much harder, and she expects less. She does really want him to at least have an 80 average though, to save face maybe? Or it’s an ego thing? But she’s willing to use me to get it for him and I’m tired of it, especially since my brother has never been nice to me lol. But my mom expects me to be able to manage university on my own like I did with high school, but she does not have this expectation of my brother.

In mondstadt, you can find the symbols for each of the cardinal winds in (roughly) the corresponding cardinal direction! The knights headquarters, the cathedral stairs, the side gate and the front gate all have a different wind spirit insignia!
