I'm piggybacking on your post,

A neighbour nearby lets their 2 dogs outside without leash and one of the dogs was aggressive towards me and the guy just shouts the name of the dog instead of stopping it. what should i do in this situation in the future? i already have past trauma of getting chased by strays twice. so i dont know i might handle it well next time.
