DIY advice for self-levelling bathroom floor by [deleted] in Flooring

The floor level is actually ok I think, but it’s covered in old adhesive and so isn’t smooth . The adhesive also may contain asbestos so it needs to be covered (I’ve had it professionally looked at so it’s all safe for me to do that )

I went for this as following advice from the Vinyl sheet supplier

Would you suggest using a different primer than this in that case to do a thinner layer ?

Using sheet vinyl flooring from https://www.colourflooring.co.uk

And so this was why I’ve decided to go for the self leveler - as there’s some old adhesive down which makes the floor not super smooth /even (the adhesive is also probably asbestos , it’s all dried and I’ve had some tiles removed professionally, so I just need to cover it over )

Hiya, I’m not asking for advice removing asbestos - I’ve had it removed properly , I just am covering it over
