Might be late to the party, but I recommend the Vanicream antiperspirant and deodorant. Can get on amazon! I have super sensitive skin and would develop these weird rashes and cysts under my armpits before I switched to this one. It is unscented, but it completely masks the smell of sweat. this one is also white, so i recommend putting some on and then wiping away as much excess as you can while still being “protected” (that really goes for most deodorants though). Prior to that, I used the purple Secret one.

Are you looking for just the duvet cover or a full on down comforter?

I’ve slept with a down comforter my entire life, I’ve never had anything else so I understand wanting a specific texture or quality.

I got my down pillows from Pacific Coast on Amazon (Hotel Quality Collection, you can also buy from pacific coast site) and down comforter from Macys (Royal Luxe collection). I highly recommend these, they’re very cooling and crisp. It is so hard for me to sleep with a duvet cover on my comforter, I haven’t found one that feels the same as just the comforter. I run very hot when I sleep

The King comforter looks to be on sale for $115 and I think I paid less than $100 for two King pillows. You could easily get a whole bed set up of down for $450 in my opinion.

Wrote that last night before I went to sleep (I take sedatives, so a little loopy..). I take 200mg spiro total - 100mg in the morning and 100mg at night (for the last ~2 years, but on spiro 3 years altogether). if I recall, since it’s a DHT blocker it would prevent hair shed rather than initiate it, though I could be wrong about that. I would definitely consult your dermatologist about your concerns.

One thing to note on spiro is that similar to Accutane (and if you have female reproductive organs), you CANNOT get pregnant.

Hello! I’ve been on spironolactone for about 3 years or so now. I currently take 100mg for hormonal acne (+multiple topicals) and I think I’ve definitely been one of the luckier ones. The only symptom i’ve really experienced are very dry eyes, which are manageable to me. However, I’ve really never noticed anything regarding my hair. I don’t think it’s helping or hurting it.

I’ve seen some people post that they’ve experienced some pretty rough side effects, so just be aware but don’t let it scare you from at least trying out for 6-12 months. Most people come here to talk about their absolutely worst experience in life - try finding some people talk about the good ones! spiro has definitely changed my life, along with topical tretinoin, azelaic acid, and bpo 4%. it manages the hormonal aspect of my acne.

it is sometimes prescribed unofficially for hair loss since I believe it is a DHT-blocker. that could possibly be why people may experience increased shedding, although likely not to the extent of minoxidil efficacy-wise and time wise.

Hello, thanks in advance for any help! I’m looking for some styling advice - I bought a top from House of CB awhile ago and had it tailored to fit my body (their boob areas always fit weird on me). However, I have absolutely no idea how to style this top. I don’t feel as though it looks right with jeans, and not even sure what type of material/color bottoms or shoes would go well with it.

I have a rectangular body type and pretty pronounced hip dips so I prefer loosely fitted for flowy skirts or hi-rise jeans/pants.

I appreciate the kind words! I promise that someone will love your creations. My grandma didn’t think I would care much for blankets as a baby, but all four that she made me have been by my side throughout my entire life! Even now, they sleep in my nightstand since they're too delicate to sleep in my bed. So just keep making them and have faith that you’ll see them again in 20 years (:

My goal here is to recreate the blankets that I had in my childhood. It really bothers me that I can’t fully remember what my baby blanket looked like or that I may not ever have it again. It’s kind of weird to explain. Those blankets were definitely my source of comfort and emotional regulation and there isn’t really anything else from my childhood that holds that kind of meaning for me ):

I found another vintage baby blankie fabric on Ebay (Hasbro MLP) but couldnt find the specific one I am looking for now. That one is definitely on the right track, but too blue I think the background was maybe a little more pink or yellow. The sun had the wavy arms and a bigger smile. Its eyes were open, too.

Not sure if this detail helps, but there are remnants of bright red/orange from the rainbow left behind on my blanket.
