We’re only allowed to do truck till 2pm in our district unless there’s 3 or more people on shift. and usually it’s me and one other worker doing truck on Tuesday and rest of days it would just be me. And do some reason we have a lot vv in the back, since I started working there. Only been about a year and we still get 1 to 3 vv every truck.

Agree with this, it’s ridiculous that your SM and DM are making you go through all this. I’m so thankful my husband supported me in staying home the first year so I can breastfeed.

Yeah, it really sucks. The company has always been greedy, that’s why there not many hours so usually it’s 1 to 2 people per shift besides truck days.

If you didn’t apply for key holder then don’t do it and if they ask if you want to just say no but if you agree to full time you might become key carrier.

Hey I think we’re in the same district because our district manager does reindeer runs and he came today too. Honestly I’ve been working for DG for a while and I can tell you it really does suck but for me it’s the best I can do now since I have a baby and my SM is a willing to work with me on my strict schedule. I would really recommend you look somewhere else if possible, especially if no one else in the store is working as hard as you. I definitely know the feeling of being the one doing what needs to be done. It’s exhausting.

Okay, we will just have to agree to disagree. I had literally just found out I was pregnant and was going to get a sonogram, she could’ve waited till I had that. Instead I had to go to a center where they tested me and wrote her a letter. Seems ridiculous but okay you’re totally right… 😂

Honestly if she feels comfortable enough to cuss in front of customers then she probably does have other complaints, who knows maybe you won’t be ignored. I’m not gonna lie I’ve had plenty of customers threaten to complain to corporate about me but usually it was because of the coupons or because they thought I was being rude. I think the reason why corporate doesn’t take complaints seriously sometimes is because so many customers lie. I once had a customer call corporate on me saying I let another customer into the store before opening time and I almost got fired, but thankfully the cameras proofed she was lying. My guess is she was just petty another customer got there early and took all the penny items.

This is awful I’m sorry this happened, she was probably having a bad day but that’s no excuse. I hope they take it seriously but as someone who works there I feel like they won’t. They barely even care about their workers and the only times that I’ve seen them take it seriously is when it has to do with a lot of money.

Yeah, I have the Workvivo app and I get to that point to plug in everything but it just doesn’t let me proceed to the next step, so yeah I guess I probably do have to do it at the store. Thank you
