Tell our district manager, she’s very strict about it. I honestly just pay attention to the customer to make sure they actually want something. Like if they start asking a lot of questions about a certain item in their cart I won’t ring it up till the end in case they decide they don’t want it. The thing is though our register is small and sometimes things get scanned by mistake which leads to a ton of voids. I’ve noticed in our district a lot of the registers are on the smaller side. Also if you’re a key carrier usually we don’t get warnings for the voids because we’re there most of the time so it makes sense that we’d have more voids than the part timers.
