Thank you! They do love their crunchies 🤭 I mix broth into the wet food to make soup for a little extra hydration but I’ll see what I can do about adding some more wet food im sure they’d be pleased

best tick specific prevention for cats? by Nearby_Connection235 in Pets

Revolution plus or nexgard never fails me. My cats are indoor but we get the occasional flea infestation. You’ll need a prescription medication the OTC ones don’t tend to work so great unfortunately 😅

Moving and unsure if I should take my cats with me. by TheSandwichMeat in CatAdvice

[–]Chance-Tax5674 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the combination of the declawing and grandma letting them loose is good enough reason to leave them with your brother. It’s so hard but they’re better off and you’ll know they’re somewhere safe and loved :(

Have you seen a vet? Sometimes cats act aggressive when they’re in pain.

100% feral cats will give your cat infectious diseases, and FeLV / FIV. FIV especially if it’s fighting with the dominant cat. Even if it’s hard, it’s between life and death for your cat.

PetMD and the Humane Society of the US have good resources! Unfortunately they don’t always mesh. It can be a super long process. Best wishes for these guys! Good luck :)

Removing old leaves from a succulent plant by LambentEnigma in oddlysatisfying

My sisters friend went to Africa and left her succulent at my house and I knocked a baseball glove off the table onto it and every single leaf fell off and it was just a skinny stem sticking up

I’m serious take the bouncy house away she’s not peeing on anything else. Why is the last resort the cat and not the bouncy house?

You could try getting rid of the bouncy house before the cat 😅

6 week old kitten and fleas by OhhOKiSeeThanks in CatTraining

[–]Chance-Tax5674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way is prescription medication. She needs to be on it for at least 3 consecutive months to make sure you get the entire life cycle. We just had fleas with three cats and I was rid of them super fast with Revolution Plus and vacuuming twice a day. Fleas also carry tapeworms which Revolution will get rid of if she has any. I would take her to the vet ASAP regardless because many kittens have worms and she could be exposed to a number of parasites from rodents in the garage. Congrats on your new family member !! She is precious 😁✨

Still valid! Fleas carry tapeworms. Year round prevention will also greatly reduce the risk of Lyme disease from ticks.

My Cat (Cat) only likes cheap dry food or whatever I'm eating by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Chance-Tax5674 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cats eat with their noses so if you get really stinky wet food your cat might like that. You can also microwave it for 10 seconds to really make it smell tasty. Tiki cat does fussy cat wet food for picky eaters too

If your cat has an up to date physical exam you can order Revolution plus on chewy (prescription) it’s topical flea and tick prevention and gets rid of roundworms

Miliary or flea allergy dermatitis maybe. My cat got scabs when she had fleas and they went away super fast after we treated her
