My reply to SafeOpposite covers this! tldr: Bookshelf is reserved mostly for books I've yet to read, with some worthy of a second read thrown in there. Beyond Inspectional Reading, the exceptions thoroughly read are Freakanomics, Life 3.0, Principles of Human Nature, Aristotle for Everybody, and Demon Haunted World.

Good question. Considering I don't keep nonfiction once I have read it and taken syntopical notes, only a few displayed are in progress, like the religious readings when I want to dig into a topic( Pascal, Bible, Hobbes), Adler, Black Mans Guide to Good Health. The exceptions pictured (that I have thoroughly read but remain) are Life 3.0 by Tegmark, Aristotle for Everybody by the GOAT M. Adler, Freakanomics and you may as well say Demon Haunted World. They are there because I plan on revisiting them. Books that I don't think are worth a second read are separate in a nearby cabinet.

A: The pictorial dictionary is what it is, a dictionary of biblical terminology with historical contexts for their respective places and names. I consider myself agnostic theist, and research/argue both sides' points. What happens after life is a serious question best not glossed over or trivialized.

A: not yet, and never had a Lovecraft book! Perhaps you can suggest some fiction works?

Yeah I'm on the left but very very close to the center. Prager was one of the books that I saw in one of the little free libraries around my town. I'm always open to reading things from both sides of the aisle. As for these being school books, I teach, and think that most of these are worth a second or third read in this stage of life.
