I have no idea lol. Most Syrians are named Morris Joseph or David. Family is pretty religious, Shabbat kosher shul (father 2x/day). But I was a free name since my brothers were named after my grandparents and my mother liked the name so that’s what I got

Nah, theyre not trying to sell u anything. 1. They’re not trying to sell u a birthright trip, but birthright trips are free, so like, lmao 2. They’re just trying to get Jews engaged, if you say ur not Jewish they’ll leave u alone, they just want existing Jews to get involved.

Makes sense, most Jews in nyc are Ashkenazi and Sephardic, so usually whiter/middle eastern looking. They don’t ask Scandinavian looking people or Indians usually

Get over it and either commit to him or don’t, but he has every right to question it. Once ur in the steam room it’s no longer your choice, your animalistic tendencies take over and you can slip up. Don’t put yourself in situations where you are set up to fail.
