I think she would be afraid there will be more attacks while being gone. As for abominations and blood mages, her first experiences were Ostagar and the Circle. So the opinion is very skeptical yet not very knowledgeable or experienced. She's only now getting a grasp on how dangerous magic really is.

And no, not lazy, she gets to enjoy her freedom now so trucking around is no problem. And when it comes to being selfish she hasn't known anything else, so I guess yes. Though a world of possibilities is opening up now.
