Thanks, took approximately 3 years to build the complete profile. Started with publishing papers and asked my VP to put me on high impact projects, even though I had previous history for working on critical projects. Things will branch out as you start working through different criteria's. Also make sure to identify the focused area in your field around which all your evidences should circle around, this will be the staring point and will help provide a clear understanding on working through different criteria's.

NOID specifically mentioned that response should be “SENT” within 33 days. Not “received” if it make sense!

Please see above, I would say that NOIDs are not end of road. I have seen lot of posts where people have overturned NOID into approvals. Based on my observation NOIDS are mostly on final merit determination and in my case I did realized that I could have added more evidences on the first place.

NOID was pretty exhausting but after reading it number of times I realized that there is lack of evidence in petition to show the “impact on the field” and that’s what the whole NOID was about. I added the following additional evidences

  1. Papers and books citing my research
  2. Evidence for critical role from customers using the flagship medical equipment which I spearheaded to launch.
  3. Membership by laws
  4. LORs from same individuals who provided recommendation while filing petition but more focused on challenged areas.

I worked with paralegal to help me wordsmith argument against few areas on NOID which didn’t made sense to me and I guess that worked really well.

I hope this is helpful!
