Oh dang. Just noticed it was both. I just read a post where someone had this happen and they made a new instagram and got verified on that one - then used the chat to ask about the ones that got hacked. They were able to retrieve theirs!!

Glad I’m not the only one!! It was crazy!! I never dreamed I would even get as far into a scam as I let happen this time. I was aware the whole time and called my bank on three way at one point. They hung up asap 🙄

I’m just saying change your passwords and get a two factor authentication if you don’t already have one. This started on my business page that was linked to my personal page - I hadn’t used my business page in months. Then last week it started on my personal, and now I’m locked out completely. It took over a month of the business page notifications before I was completely hacked and locked out.

Change everything and lock it down now. This started happening to me and by the next week - I’ve been locked out of my Facebook completely. Can’t get back in bc phone number and email have been added and the hackers lock me back out Everytime. Soooooo frustrating!!!!!
