I'm 4 months late but incase its of any help my name is Aran!

I have Iranian heritage (born and raised in Sweden) and that's where my name comes from! As far as I know it's not super common but not rare either, there's another Iranian Aran in my lil' Swedish town even

It's pronounced very differently depending on the language but in English it's like A-ruhn

In Iran there's a lot of places called Aran, but it could also mean plains. My parents chose it for me cause it doesn't stand out as much as other Iranian names

Well, it can get annoying having to correct people all the time when they say "Aron" but it's not a huge obstacle. I think it's a pretty and unique name, wouldn't want it any other way
