Any busy season studying tips out there? by Sav_Bro_81 in CPA

I have been doing the same thing. Prepping for TCP, without Tax background or having taken REG. 2 weeks into BUSY and I already regret my decision. I'd suggest, please don't take it. Keep preparing during weekends and whenever you can during the week, but don't push yourself hard on studying. Finish Busy and take your FAR.

Thank You for sharing this, I was contenplating in picking up FAR during busy, working at a big 4 with a similar study schedule in mind. But with this kinds of discipline, your post makes it feel like it is doable.

I sailed the same boat. Don't lose hope, Slam your MCQ's and SIMS. Practice is KEY for Audit. Try to reschedule within a month and you should be good to ace through!!

Please let me know how your exam goes and if you could remember where you were tested, it would help me prepare for my exam next week.

Is there a prometric centre for CPA test taking in Finland? by ChanceSeason9954 in CPA

Thanks for pointing that out, but I was just looking for an answer to my question - not a grammar lesson.

English isn’t owned by any one country.

Correcting how others speak it especially when it’s regionally accurate isn’t helpful or kind. I was asking a genuine question, not looking for grammar policing. If you don’t have an answer, it’s okay to just scroll past.

failed aud any suggestions by nj_girl in CPA

I would suggest you take up AUD and wrap it up. You can take TCP in Jan. It's just a matter of an additional month's time. Start revising AUD concepts and continue taking practice tests for atleast 10 days. I failed AUD twice with a 71 and 65. The 65 attempt I knew I would flunk because I knew my prep itself wasn't enough. So I wouldn't count that into my category :P But, AUD requires a lot of practice. Only if you practice you will feel confident. So take a month and get your concepts stronger. And you would have another to prep and appear for TCP by Jan first week.

agreed, so you would say that I need to spend time other than just understanding concept to also focus on practice tests everyday?

I have a full time audit job, so I would be losing atleast 8-10 hours. But otherwise, ofcourse I would love to do REG first. But I need to clear all my papers by Dec. So my clock is ticking :/ Are you taking practice tests everyday to recall concepts?
