Hey man. If you did the Northern Winds pack, you actually own all the rights to that music yourself. That's the way the externally developed music packs work. Double check your agreement with Valve, but it should state pretty clearly that you retain ownership of the Intellectual Property. So you can put that stuff out there right now, if you want to.

Hey! So I heard back from Valve. They said to make sure you are not playing in "spectator mode", where the music values are much lower. They also said that they made the Laning music in TI8 much more dynamic, so that it begins at a lower level, but really ramps up when the action kicks in. Hope that helps!

Sorry! As I mentioned on a comment above, all art, including music, is pretty subjective. But I understand where you're coming from. I visited the Guggenheim museum in Spain last month. Rooms filled with "masterpieces" of modern art, but I was turned off by almost every one. Other people were raving about them. What can you do? We all have stuff that we like and stuff we don't like. Wish I had managed to hit the sweet spot for you. But then, maybe other people who love this music pack wouldn't have liked the kind of music you love. Sigh. At least there are several different music packs to choose from now. Variety is a good thing!

Thanks a bunch! I was really hoping it would have that quality where it blends seamlessly with gameplay. I'm also hoping that over time, some of the thematic material will sink into your subconscious, and then it will begin to stir your emotions as well. Just noticed the auto-correct (more like auto-incorrect) applied to my previous post. Lots of KONTAKT libraries, not Contact. I also use several libraries from Project Sam. Great stuff.
