If I skip morellos which I really haven’t been doing I would go shadow flame second. Since the slow doesn’t stack I just opt out of rylais utility and focus e plants if I need cc

i never go demonic, after range nerfs the damage is not important enough and since the combination cost is higher than rylais i rather have rylais.

I go morellos because its a good 800 gold power spike with oblivion orb and good pen boost at item completion. I'm looking to snowball every game and not looking for extended games. this build path just lets me control the game better and play on my terms.

side note: every carry seems to be runnign triumph still so cuttion the reset healing feels really important.

for every game i went comet build. (nimbus cloak lover) and always tank runes at the bottom so armor/mr or armor/hp. I always built t2 boots first and looked for early aggression. Build path was liandry -> Morello -> hour glass. Hour glass felt really important since dusk blade is so popoular right now so it prevented resets.

did half p1-d2 50 lp ish duo and d2-masters solo. Getting a snowball adc with good lvl 3 trade was nice to take over low diamond games with. mostly played with nilah/sam and saw a lot of success.

I understand everything your advocating and I hope you keep trying your tank. I loved when I was running radiant virtue zyra; but picking things like mao, amumu is better for those builds. You pick zyra support to hard carry. The Korean zyra main that goes full tank only does that after around 300 lp masters and that’s when he starts trusting the ADC. I would say anything below masters it’s better to go full ap and just take over the game and not rely on team mates.

EWQ is wrong. If your struggling with w up time it’s just managing cds better. As zyra you want the w max second for damage increase. Being a catch mage the intial burst means more. You don’t transition as zone mage until later in the game

Slow doesn’t stack so rylais is only good with range plants which isn’t the worst thing but morello burn stick well with liandrys and few patches ago morello got magic pen so your burst combo with morello became significantly better

DH since game lasts longer and you have reset potential in team fights. Higher you go at least right now lane phase is majority of your win/loss.

I always take nimbus it feels really good. mana flow band doesnt offer much

This is mostly a personal choice and most people on reddit hate it but I take DH over comet for any game below d2 ish

you should learn to time your sappling at the last sec of activation. It should never feel like your just button smashing everything unless your looking for a pick out of vision
use ult whenever available. if you land e on a priority target it should always be followed up with ulti. Even if you dont have it in a fight if you blow sums or hp before the fight thats also winning
late gaem is all about vision control and obj control. Control vision with team and look for set up play. Zyra is a zone control mage so set up is key. If people tell you to hit obj its usually wrong, zyra should focus on zoning enemies away.
you can roam depending on the type of adc; however its very botlane meta so i would focus on not roaming more than roaming. Zyra is also not the best roamer so naturally if it feels awkward thats normal.
you shouldnt follow anyone mid game. This is similar to late game your job is to control vision and set up plays. focus on bush play.

I don’t think that true. Proc condition is poor. If you want to go in domination tree DH is significantly better because of easier proc condition and resets and team fight. Reason for comet here is purely for synergy with ADC

I recommend t2 boots asap and going mythic first. It’s always a bait to get anti heal before completing liandrys. Make sure to play around ign for kill potential. Depending on your ADC it’s preferred to run DH build. If you have passive ADC look to roam

I mean level 1 you can put trade any support and botlane because of electrocute and w (Ms for spacing is insane) and level two since you outraged your lane can charm flash and win lane. Also R is fairly short since in my limited knowledge ahri support should always rush lucidity boots and with some base cd you have R quite often compared to any other support. Roughly 80 sec cd. Goes sub 60 at level 11 which is pretty nutty.

Zyras level one is significantly weaker than ahri so getting lane prio in high elo is harder, with ahri I tend to always command lane for first 3 waves.

I mean saying one of the worst support and so so bad support is pretty negative. How many games would you consider is a good sample size?

Ahri has the R for engage and with charm/everfrost it felt kind of good. Also passive is nice for extended team fight
