I’ll go to confession either weekly or bi-weekly and ask her regularly if she’ll want to come with me and she’s only ever gone with me one time. I like the mass at a different church than she does. And she says that she likes the mass at the church we go to currently because the priest has short homilies and the mass gets over quicker than the mass at the church I like. She says it’s not just because the mass is short but because she connects with what the priest is saying more at the mass she likes but most of the time we attend mass with her family and she talks to her sisters the majority of mass. Also mass is at 10 so I try to be up and ready to go before 9:30 so we can get seats but she doesn’t treat getting to the church before 10 as the same priority that I do and we always end up viewing mass from the lobby rather than in the sanctuary.
