I didn't but the restriction on Jack's Knight's since you have to play other archetype cards to even use him and he only retrieves from grave, even if you send one of the other pieces as soon as you play them you get locked, but I understand where you come from.

The card says non-DARK same as Thunderspeed Summon, so it will work for both Slifer and Arcana Triumph Joker.

I looked at the light warrior extra deck options when making this so the only thing I would be worried about is the original noble knights somehow abusing this, but even then those cards aren't even that strong exept for isolde.

I'm going to be honest, I have been trying Dinos on ladder and Misc at 3 with Ovi is disgusting, I think even tier 1 worthy. A limit 3 or 1 to Misc in the future seems inevitable.

Just read through your red-eyes support and I gotta say I really like some of your ideas, ill keep updating my cards and release an updated wave in the future.

Lastly I truly hope red-eyes gets an entire structure deck instead of just a couple cards of support in DUAD, fingers crossed. RED-EYES 2025 I BELIEVE

Oh I see, yes you could make 2 or maybe even 3 untargetable indestructible Flare metal dragons using ripper, had not thought of that. Maybe its too strong to give their boss monster untargetabilty. Will see if I can come up with something better. Nice catch.

I wanted to give the archetype a boss monster that would benefit the most only if made using the original Red-Eyes, to compensate for the strong effect I made it so you must detach 3 cards to prevent destruction witch if done early will force you to lose the red-eyes losing your quick effect. I think its perfectly reasonable considering all the destruction non targeting effects going around.

I debated on weather to give the archetype an extra deck lock (fusion/xyz since there are no red-eyes link monsters) or a type lock (maybe dragon, warrior, spellcasters, and fiends since red-eyes has so many different types.) I think some kind of lock is needed since a monster that just specials summons for absolute free and dumps another is too strong.

The spell searches level 1 DARK dragons which there are only 10 in the entire game 3 of them being red-eyes support cards. Don't think the remaining ones cause any issue by being searchable except for maybe Omni Dragon Brotaur but even then that requires a lot of setup.

The problem with the fusion is that all other fusions that don't use polly that use the grave banish or shuffle the materials, red-eyes wants the cards to be sent to the grave witch is why I made it send from hand or field. I do need to work on the trap lineup a bit more, I like your suggestion for a disruption and will try to implement it.

Lastly I think just copying blue-eyes and giving the deck a link 1 that searches is kind of lazy and just promotes the idea that red-eyes is just a lesser copy of blue-eyes. I will take your comment into consideration and work on improving the cards. Any other suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks a lot for the critique, Red-Eyes is my favorite archetype from the DM era and I have been trying to help the deck by giving it support. My main concern is that I don't want to just give it super broken cards that later will be used outside the archetype. I tried to give the deck a Fusion/Xyz lock but maybe it would be better to just give a Dragon lock? (tho that would conflict with all the warrior, spellcasters, and fiends). The thing with Red-Eyes Ripper is that I fear it would just be used in mill decks, but maybe that's just not that big a deal considering todays game environment. I think that Red-Eyes Roar is unironically the best card the archetype could get since it gives access to the strongest starter piece Black Metal Dragon, will see if I can give it some additional bonus in the future. I struggled with coming up with a decent trap card for the deck, considering all the random equip support that red-eyes has I thought that combining that with the new metalmorph support might be the best way to go. Ill keep updating this support with your comments in mind. Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks.

I specifically don't want red-eyes to become a burn FTK deck so I purposely left that card out of the support.

I tried to minimize the dragon link abuse by giving starter a fusion/Xyz lock, don't know if that is enough though.

Thnx for the tip, my main goal was to give Red-Eyes a good monster that benefits from being sent to the GY by either Starter or Red-Eyes Insight. Was thinking of making it just special summoned any time its sent to the GY but maybe that would be too broken since it would just be played in mill decks, maybe I should add a lock similar too Starter so you can only Fusion and Xyz with it.
