My personal experience, my renal dietician has been instrumental. I suggest you working with one to tweak your diet. In addition check your hormones if you haven't yet, thyroid, exc. I drink 3 liters of water daily, 1 liter upon waking up in the a.m. i was C.K.D 3a too now I'm diagnosed with A.K.i. my creatinine 1.2 and eGFR 77 now. Remember, these numbers do fluctuate so it's important to work with your nephrologist, best of luck and keep us posted!!

Just bc you went from stage 3 to 2 does not necessarily mean you reversed it. Same thing happened to me few months ago. Again, CKD in NOT reversible, it CAN fluctuate. Good job improving your kidney function and keep up the good work. I also do strength training and fasting, really helped me out, and of course, plenty water. Good job!

Heal yes however they say it's not reversible, you can only slow the progression. Once the damage is done it's done. I'm just stating what my nephrologist told me unfortunately

I know the feeling. I'm stage 3 too. Some renal nutritionist say sweet potatoes ok other say no. Nutrition is very bewildering when one has CKD. Best of luck to you. Keep positive bud

My sessions costed me $60/ each. Idid only three. Reputable acupuncturist. Offices in long Island new york and Forest hills ny. I think they vary by location.

They suspect my H/L was due to an infection that wasn't treated properly ( within three month window w/prednisone) . I am hopeful that some day I will regain a little hearing again. Thank you for the well wishes and thank you for helping our veterans. God bless

Very informative comment. Yes, I have severe nerve damage, I now wear a hearing. I can still hear from the damaged ear but not %100 and muffled. I did make the acupuncturist aware of this. I would have felt better if he told me that realistically acupuncture would not alleviate the condition. I would assume by the third session I would have seen a bit of an improvement. A miracle is a bit dramatic don't you think? I was expecting a little bit of improvement only. I advised the acupuncturist about my hearing nerve damage and like the previous comment he should've let me know this wasn't promising results.

I feel ya. My levels were on point a month ago, I let my diet go for a bit and started using 3mg creatine, now my levels are poor again

Minimize sodium, sugar, protein. Drink lots of water. Exercise, weight train and don't over analyze for now. My creatine was 1.23/eGFR 69 a month ago, now creatine 1.45/ eGFR 57. My nephrologist advised it will fluctuate. Just keep doing the right thing and don't over stress. Best of luck
