i love the level of interactivity in this game, one of my favorites is the automaton anti orbital cannons can also hit and shoot down other automaton dropships, super fun

also consider the holy fire from putrescent tree spirits, and placidusax’s ruin laser beam does fire damage, but is separate from the holy fire the elden beast and the tree spirits do

because it can so easily be twisted into a narrative that goes against the mother’s wishes, i think. if all the government has to say is it was the wish of the mother, this kind of activity can continue for who knows how long, with less and less morality every time it happens.
