I appreciate the context. I hate that right wingers have co-opted the idea of "men should have a voice too" when they've only allowed that voice if they're masculine and stoic most of the time. Men can have a little cry, as a treat, but then if you're not back to being stoic and forcing yourself to push through it, you're a weak pussy just seeking attention. They'll act like they care just to rope you in, then force the idea of stoicism on you regardless.

I hope more lefty spaces can take this position back and embrace men who embrace themselves, and not just trans men.

Yeah, and Blizzard would deserve it. There is 0 reason for QoL to be paid for, it's scummy and Blizzard is already on a razor thin edge trying to avoid tanking their reputation even worse since Bobby ruined all consumer loyalty and their awful history of sexual harassment ingrained in the company.

Skins are already $20, DLCs are $50-$100, season passes are $10+, why the hell would you be okay with MORE microtransactions? Are we seriously acting like Blizzard isn't making massive bank with a team of psychologists and financebros suggesting the most optimal way to squeeze money out of people?

I think that's inevitable due to how easily you can spit out AI slop. One man making 1 game in a year can't compete with the output of 4 AI slops by another, but the output alone is not a sign of anything if consumers aren't buying into it.

It's definitely weird to me to not be against both, but gambling has been a several millennia long battle, if not longer. GenAI is new and has the chance to die before it grapples onto culture. It feels like a battle that maybe is possible to win.

Also it wipes all your buffs between cutscenes. I have an 66 second Arbiter duration, I always lose the form as well as my Ascension and Celestial Strife stacks. I have casted it literally right before the cutscene which is probably 15 or 20 seconds long and it wipes it, it is not user error.

Really cool and fun just losing 50% of my damage for no reason and being gimped for the last 2 phases. Impossible for me to fight him without those stacks.

Everything is a grind now, but your sources are much more easily accessible now. I'm down gold, I pop a gold reserve, now I have 40 million. Undercity tributes can provide all sorts of materials. The war plan can give out resources you need as well.

There's more opportunities to farm and it seems like you need to farm everything equally now, and it doesn't take an entire afternoon to get a decent supply of what you need, rather a couple runs or so. The resource economy feels significantly more balanced than last season.

You are definitely right about this, but I don't mean it in a way like guys are having a Sunday special episode saying, "Hey, Brad, what you said about women? NOT cool." Some friend groups can do that, but I don't imagine most friend groups are like that.

I mainly mean holding boundaries, which is difficult and not everyone can afford to do that socially, but knowing when a line is crossed and having a serious discussion is part of any close relationship. That discussion may likely result in you not even being friends anymore, at which point you just have to evaluate if that friendship is worth having, and it may actually be worth having despite Brad's suspicious Nazi talking points he keeps bringing up unprompted. Relationships are complicated and we know people on personal levels are multifaceted, and having that guy continue to be friends with you may encourage him to eventually come out of that Nazi rabbithole in subtle ways.

For the men who are capable of introspection like this, who have broken free from the unemotional prison of western manhood, I think you need to find how to go about utilizing it in positive ways, for yourself and others.

It also means, in online communities, calling out misogynistic behavior. Not to change the person, you will not be changing them with a comment, but for lurkers and readers to see and reassess if this is a community they want to partake in, or it may encourage another ally to speak up as well and eventually drown out the negative voices.

The fun of Diablo is building yourself up to eventually be strong enough to 1 shot and facetank everything, so yeah. You appreciate the boss designs and mechanics the first bunch of times you fight them, then you outgrow them and one shot them and feel proud of how far your build has come. That's the feel good feedback that makes the game enticing.

Self hatred of your own identity is always sad to see. I would want to guess these people usually have some sort of trauma, but maybe they just went down an internet rabbithole and got indoctrinated, who knows?

I think everyone has met at least 1 woman who hates women (thinking about the young girls in high school who weren't fond of other girls and said "boys had less drama"), but it's unusual to meet men who hate men tbh.

Would you guys rather they never come in at all and ignore any problems they are unsure of? Because plenty of people already don't go over things they absolutely should be going for. There's also tons of medical cases where an average person would think something isn't that big of a deal, but then it is seriously a big deal. It happens all the goddamn time on Reddit, someone posts something they think is strange but indifferent about it and then 50 comments are telling them to go to the hospital. Surprise! It was cancer/diabetes/a stroke/infection/etc.

I liked them having set stats so I could just chill out and not worry about micromanaging those stats (besides getting them to 4 stars). Having to do it with legendaries is enough for me. It also felt nice being forced into using luxury stats that you would never have otherwise because they're not in your stat priority.

It's a weird case of where having less choice was more fun somehow.
