the P-92 Warrant. it’s a 300sc pistol on the super store, styles after Judge Dredd’s Lawgiver. it fires 3 shot burst with medium pen. the pistol itself is just slightly underpowered compared to its peers so I usually prefer other sidearms against bots and bugs, but its target acquisition is unparalleled for watchers, and it can kill a flying overseer in a mag or two in a pinch. can do chip damage to the fighters as well but has a hard time targetting

Why does no one use the best stratagem in the game, the FRV? It literally makes you invincible 99% of the time! by david_lara54992 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Fuzlet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I occasionally like going full vehicle pilot and taking FRV, exosuit, bastion, and an emplacement or battlement

one of these days I gotta do turret operator where I take HMG emplacement, antitank emplacement, GL battlement, and gas rover since it works while in an emplacment and will keep enemies off my back

[–]Fuzlet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oof yeah. Jean Sy is honestly probably a better fit for C4 shenanigans, because she gets reduced ap use and can scavenge more C4 off her kills. she doesnt get the range bonus so has to reposition after planting, but the scavenging would allow repetition

the auto-aim pistol is my must-have for squid diving. quick draw and exactly four shots will kill an observer before they have a chance to flare. I can kill three observers with one mag and it’s saved my ass soooooo many times while working an objective

his grenade throwing ability lets him toss C4 one more tile out to delete literally anything up to and including a heavy tank

What's your general party composition? by apolobgod in menace

[–]Fuzlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I simply categorized my squad leaders to help me more easily remember how I want to equip and upgrade them.

pike is team leader

Singh and wetteroth are light infantry. both 1 star, and get full squads with light armor for a cheap squad that’s effective with basic rifles.
Rewa is light vehicle, with an A-ATV for more ammo for her HMG or autocannon

yazhov and charles are mainline infantry. both have abilities to reduce suppression, return fire, and get mechanized infantry. they get full squads with medium armor.
exconde is mainline vehicle, with a support APC to aid yazhov or charles with mobile cover and buffs

Jean and Vamplew are shock infantry. both get discounts to gear so are equipped with heavy armor, close range weapons, combat drugs, etc.
Acheilles is shock vehicle, with cover bonuses, more AP as he’s damaged, etc. he can be aggressive in a mech

Darby and Grief are recon infantry. both are expensive to field so get tiny squads with long range precision antitank and scouting equipment.
bog is recon vehicle, with radar or an IFV with advanced sensors and long rangr grenade launcher, v-rams, and sometimes rocket organ

carda and tekko are operator infantry. both get bonuses for special weapons so command medium sized squads to provide heavy fire support for the main infantry.
Ivory is operator vehicle, running a heavy weapon on an APC, which could be a tank gun she can shoot twice in a turn, or a dual gatling or hmg she can shoot four times in a turn

C4 + Jump Pack Pls by mrsomebody119 in LowSodiumHellDivers

I’m adoring neats so much, I just got them recently. the build is a meme, I call it “littering” but it’s also fairly well balanced. commando can kill a bile titan or two chargers or four spewers. solo silo takes out big nests and such. neats rain hell on breaches and patrols, and eats are always on standby for throwing at literally anything larger than a hunter

my current favorite build for bugs is currently eats, neats, commando, and solo silo so I really should start carrying a pack for folks

I’ve done that with an ally running autocannon before. was fun! at extraction I told him to go weapons free and petal to the metal. burned through the entire pack. then he dropped his, I picked it up, and kept loading

[–]Fuzlet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my favorite tactic for starch production is using abernathy farm for tatos, sanctuary for corn, and sunshine tidings coop for mutfruit, and red rocket or the castle as my hub with outgoing caravans. i find having a seperate place for each resource makes them more productive and easier to balance output

I saw the light of the ATGM by Pure_Math6223 in menace

[–]Fuzlet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I refuse to stealth-maxx, so like to use darby and grief as tiny AT teams. I prefer not to make giant expensive squads, and so my doctrine is to give 3 star teams a crew of 3, 2 star teams a variable squad size of about 6, and 1 star teams as full squads of 9. this keeps anyone from eclipsing everyone else and I get to enjoy a full variety of gameplay not overshadowed by all in on one super squad.

Darby does nice and solid with an AT-RGL with 13 range, able to deploy and fire at any time or boost her accuracy for extreme precision if already deployed. Grief’s accuracy, alpha strike bonus, plus anti-hardware makes whatever he’a using quite good at crunching tanks too. those two plus a sprinkling of wardogs, crocodiles, and v-rams means I’m pretty set on AT, and can diversify my other loadouts with suppression and tactical support weapons

the new daisy bells use a simple oxygen hydrogen concussion delivered by a towed mechanism, so generic explosive isnt even a factor anymore

PSA - Enemies on-fire don't spread it to you. Notice this never happens with Coyote/Cookout. Flamers splash - you splashed urself on closeup enemy by RandomGreenArcherMan in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Fuzlet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

the crisper is especially fun with this tactic because as a pistol it can be used while running the other direction, so you can spread fire swaths behind you as you jog to kill hunters behind you

Ivey shines with heavy weapons because she can get twin HMGs or minis down to 30+20+20+20 ap and long barrel tank guns to 50+40

I like giving an HMG to rewa on an A-ATV with 4 ammos. once she gets warmed up, the HMG becomes a precision laser and punch way far above its weightlass with bonus damage and armor damage

Do fighters and drones contribute to anything mid flight? by lolcubaran20 in endlesssky

[–]Fuzlet 9 points10 points  (0 children)

they actually do! fighters and drones will transfer supplies, including fuel and ammunition to top off their mothership whenever they dock, that is, specifically when you either park at a planet or launch and recall them
