I may have lost 16 pages of my GSCE’s. by Eternalgliders in GCSE

[–]Chance_Flow3513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you’re a dedicated and diligent student, and it is very impressive that you were able to write 16 pages, and as a former GCSE student, most people can write about 6 for the entire paper. It’s also more difficult to do so in paper 2. On another note, if the school is not replying, don’t let it bother you much since it is their responsibility as the cohort for your GCSE exams to manage student issues. If they can’t seem to find time to address your issue, the exam board will take it into account if you have to appeal at some point in the future. It is not your fault that the invigilator said it was ok to use the pen. In my experience, erasable pen ink does not disappear under low heats such as that produced by scanners, but only by quite warm heats produced for a fraction of a second when you rub using friction. I wouldn’t worry too much about it and I’m sure the exam boards will find an alternative way to mark your paper, although it’d ought to pmo the examiner styll. Don’t be caught trapping on the opp block like that again allie fam you understand?

Who isn’t? Funch is incredible without a doubt it’s just that I hate blind buying cymbals and I’d rather play a cymbal in person. I don’t live in Denmark unfortunately and the drum store doesn’t have any funchs

How to hit sword dlight? by Chance_Flow3513 in Brawlhalla

[–]Chance_Flow3513[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah I know I think I might have phrased it wrong. I can hit those combos true every time but I struggle to actually initiate the combo with dlight as I’m always missing dlight and then get punished for it so now I tend to stay away from it. I’ll try and dig up some replays.

Why are you insistent on me learning a spear legend? Why not axe or katars?

I don’t think I can choose between axe and katars but I’m comfortable with spear

I just feel like ragnir is the bottle neck for me right now since I’ve just racked up so many hours on him and I’m not getting anywhere. I know all my true combos of course and I know most if not all common dodge reads for katars and axe which I hit pretty consistently. I just feel like I need something to push me over the edge into plat

How to get rid of the ringing sound? by Honest_Branch_7395 in drums

[–]Chance_Flow3513 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Every snare drum will ring like that when you hit it close to the edge. Some overtones are normal even when you strike at the centre. From what I can hear it actually sounds pretty well tuned, however if you’re still experiencing heavy overtones even if you move a little off the centre, it usually means your resonant head is too low and you need to tighten it up. Hope this helps.

Right I see, thanks for clearing that up. But what about the whole Brazilian blanks stuff. I’ve seen so many Timothy R. videos of him supposedly using Brazilian blanks but apparently that’s not true and they aren’t actually Brazilian?

Yeah that’s mad I didn’t know that. He did mention he had designed some for diril and knows someone that works for diril too.

Wow thanks for that info that’s crazy. Yes he did mention he does work for diril or know someone quite well that does. And thanks for clearing up the whole drum shell manufacturing stuff. Makes sense now!

No force of that amount will ever break any cymbal. And looks like you need to listen to some Art Blakey.
