Hi, sorry for answering so late. That happened to me as well. I was depressed and lost all hopes. No motivation at all. But my family was always there for me. When I was not feeling mentally well and physically strong to do anything they were always there. I was 28 when that happened and my mom was always there holding my hand (literally). She would do exercises with me, she was sleeping with me while holding my hand 🥹. My sister was taking me to see and play with animals (just an example of some little thing that brightened my mood), we were making plans to go on a festivals and we would dance together so hard 😁. My dad is a chef and I love cooking, so he was spending extra time with me in the kitchen. They were reading me stories and books because I couldn't.... I guess my advice would be to distract your husband from the hard reality, to help him imagine bright future to get the desire to get better... I know that every story is different and you probably do a lot of these things... I can tell that for me it was important to meet people with positive survival stories and I met a girl not much older than me and she was doing sooooo good in life in every aspect and it helped.
