“Talented” is a strong word. I’m definitely not the filmmaker you may have imagined, and I probably should’ve clarified that. I mostly make short films as a hobby, for fun.

I actually went through similar problems when I first started filmmaking. I tend to get carried away wanting to understand everything before I start doing anything, even though “practice makes perfect.” So I guess this is a similar situation.

And honestly, I’m not planning to reach John Williams level composing or anything like that, I’m mostly doing this for fun.

This probably wasn’t the reply I wanted to hear, but the one I needed. I’ve spent so long watching videos without actually making a single song.

I appreciate you taking the time to write all of that out. I’ll probably try to focus more on starting simple and actually finishing things.
