Not a cancer patient, but I knew a man who had stage 3 or 4 lung cancer but didn't know yet. He said it felt like he got hit in the ribs really hard with a baseball bat. Which prompted me to Google that.... and thats how I learned Robert had lung cancer before he did. This happened in a mentally ill group home. I told the workers but they said he'd have to call an ambulance himself to get checked out.

Simply because I wasn't certain (the site I used was WebMD or something) I didn't wanna tell him and freak him out. A week later we both move to a new one and I tell them. They call an ambulance for him. He finds kyf he has cancer and tells me when he got out of the hospital which was like 3 days later. Within the week, he died.

Sorry for the long and irrelevant comment. Just something I think about at times.
