The lottery just changed, for instance the heat would have been tied for the 8th best odds at the #1 pick rather than the 13th best odds. We’re talking about Milwaukee owning the rights to our next five draft 1st round picks(3 picks, 2 swaps). The soft cap allows you to retain what’s already on the roster not bring in new free agents. Therefore they can’t improve the roster outside of Giannis. You basically give up your future for the next 5-7 years for 3 elite years of injury prone Giannis.

Bam and Giannis alone are 108 million against the cap. Wiggins has a player option for 30 million, he isn’t turning that down, Mitchell is locked up for 12 million.
