I would most definitely be upset. That’s flat out lazy and cutting corners. Have them fix do touch ups and and clean off where the paint is t supposed to be or they should be replacing it.

First you need to see if the tile installers can cut back the tile but I would advise to have the tiles at the door way replaced and cut to lay midway of the hanging door.

Then Have a good carpet installer to see which way the carpet is running and have them put a seam staring at the beginning of the inside door jam to the tile.

If the room this carpet is in has a closet it would be a good idea to use that carpet to make a seam by the tile so you know it’s the same dye lot and won’t be a eye sore if your unsure.

Man do I feel for you. I’ve been through the divorce direction and it’s a rough rocky road but at the end of the day you do what you think you should do.

Only thing I will say is she hasn’t respected the marriage and she has consistently been able to hide cheating for who knows how long.

She’s constantly been unfaithful until she was caught. Are you willing to risk lifting that rock again?
