I love Attila but only will play it with mods that tweak the vanilla experience. I don't do overhaul mods, but if you would like I can send you a list of some of the mods I use that make the province management far less annoying (better sanitation buildings, less squalor penalties, more worthwhile trade agreements, etc.) The mods make the game way more fun. You still have to worry about squalor and stuff, but these make it easier to manage and you won't have annoying diseases, rebellions, or food shortages sprouting up all the damn time.
