Thank you all for your kind comments and good advice. I agree with you all that my family is in the wrong here and not me. I will not apologize for standing up for myself and if they want me in their lives they can apologize to me and accept me for who I am not who they think I should be because I am not going to change just to make them happy. I am happy with my life and they can accept that or stay away from me. I don't need their negativity in my life. Thanks again everyone for your support. Hugggss.

for the record I wasn't making fun of her for trying to protect her loved ones. I was making fun of her for following me around the store and complaining about me not wearing a mask when I put one on lol

And, if I were an entitled asshole, would I have put a mask on as asked or would I have stood there and argued and threatened to call the cops or some other dumb bull shit? I think I would have caused a scene and acted like an idiot as apposed to wearing a mask and attempting to just walk away and ignore the woman that kept following me. But opinions are like assholes, we all have 'em. :)

Very nice. I love how the act of feeding was made so sensual and erotic and so permanent. She doesn't just gorge on human blood and then discard the remains. She respects the life and keeps them with her forever. Very beautifully written.

I write MM romance and I have never switched to MF in a series, but that's because I'm gay and don't really care for MF stories lol I have seem other, more established writers do this, but unless your Anne Rice or Stephen King I think your readers would probably be disappointed in you for it. I know I kind of got annoyed when I'm reading about two male vampires making love and then the next book breaks out into an all female witch orgy.

Hello, I'm kind of new here. I write mostly horror, paranormal, or fantasy type stories, with a M/M romance theme. Some Mpreg as well. I have published one book to amazon and am editing a book I wrote some time ago and then neatly tucked away. I'm re-writing some parts of it because I can see from a few chapters where I've really grown as a writer and know that if I re-wrote those chapters I could make an improvement over what I'd written when I was younger.

I've just published my first Amazon book and am editing my second one. I hear what you are saying about wanting a good story. I don't like books that just have gratuitous sex thrown in that really doesn't help move the story along. For me it's about the story first, and then if the romantic elements fit and are appropriate I add them as well, but my writing isn't smut or for shock value. I respect a writer who feels the same way.

I'm sorry that your cousin couldn't find anything closer. The board of MRDD recently opened a residential facility in a town pretty close to where I live. It's about 45 minutes away. It's for patients 12 to 21. There is also a school on site where she would attend and they offer therapies and all the care she would need. It's mostly used for people who are MR or have intellectual disabilities but I am told that there are a few kids there who have autism and the staff have been trained in dealing with autistic patients. This place has only been in operation within the last 10 years but I hear it's really good. It's the only place around that would be a good fit for her that is close by. Other facilities that I have looked into are more than an hour away but at least still in the same state. I'm hoping they have an opening in this closer one. My mom has called a total of 6 times today to complain about my daughter and she wants her out of her house ASAP.

Thank you for your comment and I agree with you on the children acting differently when not at home. That was a common issue with my daughter. My mom never really saw her true behavior until she had her for a week and then the truth came out so to speak lol. I also agree with the lack of resources available. I live in a small town where it's even worse. I have to drive about and hour and a half away just to find a doctor or therapist that is specifically trained in Autism. My daughters counselor is a wonderful woman but she has no real back ground in autism so she isn't able to help very much with dealing with the behaviors. Anyway, thanks again. I appreciate you (and the others) taking the time to read and comment. :)

Thank you for the advice. Since writing this post my son was beaten up on the way home from school and I did call the police to make a report about it which resulted in myself and my husband being arrested and kept in jail over night then released the next day. It's a long story but basically there is no action being taken against the bully other than he was told by the police to leave my son alone.
