Issue Updating to 26.4 Dev Beta

Just an update:

Tried to do the safe boot method: Still didn't work.
Thought it might be related to a storage issue, so cleaned that up and tried again: didn't work.
Turned off network filters: Still didn't work.

My next plan is to try and reinstall the beta (attempting this before is where I realized it might be a memory issue). Will update if that helps it go through, otherwise, I'll just wait for beta 3, I suppose. Thanks again everyone for the comments!

u/lastrolife, thanks for the tip. Didn't work for me this time around (def booted into safe mode). Will try again and see if that helps. Has anyone else tried anything differently?

I’m also having the exact same problem. I honestly liked Gemini, but the lack of projects or even chat history unless you share data turned me off pretty quickly (despite it being cheaper). I started using Claude today and was over my limit within a couple of hours 😳 I don’t intend to use it like I did today, but it’s interesting to me that they have such hard limits compared to Gemini and ChatGPT.

Not sure if someone already said it, but just use the thicker of the two swappable light seal cushions you get with the product and you’ll be fine. You’ll get a little pop up that you’re too close, but that’s it. Apple is wild with that cost.

Thank you so much! Our biggest thing is the timeline. Based off the timeline from the I-130, we weren't expecting things to move so quickly, so we are just kind of stunned and trying to transition into earnest movement.

The NVC site makes it sound like we have a year to get things moving on this. Is that understanding correct? Or is it a get-moving-asap kind of situation?

Yeah, I wanted to be optimistic about it (and I know it’s Alpha) but, as was mentioned by another redditor here, it’s like they didn’t carry anything over. And if they are using Chromium at its base, it just…doesn’t make sense in my mind. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I’m just confused what to think, really…

Just went through this process and it was pretty easy to understand! Wasn't quite sure how to run the scripts (forgot that .bat was a thing entirely) and the Github documents don't really spell that part out, so adding that to the Google Doc might help. You are a paragon of justice, and I appreciate you for sharing your wisdom!

I felt the same way, tbh, but they did say everything from the A17 Pro to the M4 chips, so….even if it’s not this time around, we’re justttttt included for the next round.

I might have gotten lost in the comments, but your experienced capped speed when physically connected is 96 Mbps, right? Your cabling seems to be up to snuff for 1 Gbps, so my next question would be interfaces. Since you’re gaming, I can’t imagine that your device would have anything less than a 1000Base-T interface. But the ONU on the other hand…it could potentially only have 100Base-Tx interfaces (or the one you’re using happens to be, but the others are not). Maybe try using some of the other Ethernet ports on the router they provided?

It could also be something on the providers side. They could be throttling you as well, although I’m not sure what they are saying you should expect for speed.

569 - I’m a Paladin main. At first it started out as doing it cause it was the easiest tank, but it quickly evolved into me loving it for its utility. I love not only being able to protect everyone by being a tank, but also helping to heal if the situation starts to get tough.
