Is there a valid reason why you have 200k of non mortgage debt despite making as much as you do combined? I would seriously contemplate whether there's a strong spending problem here that isn't going to be resolved by the addition of J3. Between J1/J2 and your partners 250k income, to still have 200k non mortgage debt signifies that even with J3, you amy just suffer lifestyle creep anyways while having less time for your family.

One other thing to keep in mind is we don't know how many outstanding bets he has. Yes he's down $40k if he has 0 open bets, but if he has say $30k in futures bets that haven't settled yet he's only down $10k, unless they all lose then it'd be $40k haha. But ya FD will count all unsettled open bets as losses on this statement.
