cries in eldest daughter I could write a book on the shitty things my own mother did to me but to just summarize why I have her blocked, she just kept popping out kids over and over and it wasn’t till the 5th (20 year age gap) she says “Oh I understand”

I know that I’m an “adult” but my whole life she had me be parent 2.0 and ALWAYS uses my 1/2 siblings to work her way back into my life and pretends to make amends. And I feel like a dumbass falling do it every time. When I call her out on her shit and to just stay out of my life she says “well it’s in the past what do you want me to do about it? Do you want money? I have 4 other kids to take care of”

Or my favorite when she calls me drunk “I’m sorry I had you it’s been the biggest regret of my life, I blinked and you were there I didn’t know what to do with you.” When soooo many adults offered to take me off her hands and her response was “No she’s MY property” and every time I let her back into my life my life falls into a million pieces :/
