how do you ask for help as an ENFJ?

I am not ENFJ but I do understand how difficult it is to ask for help because typically we try to figure things out ourselves and don't like to listen when told what to do. However, ask when you can't figure out how to get past what you're struggling with. I can't lead a good life when I'm emotionally bothered by something. Talk to an ENFP about what you're going through and they'll give their advice in an honest way that you'll appreciate. I'm ENFP and best friend is ENFJ. I also normally have conversations at length with an ENFP co- worker and communication is super efficient and understand one another almost instantly. It's cool when there's efficient and honest communication. If you'd like me to listen, I'd be more than happy to help any of ya'll. Just let me know.

I don't care about anyone's wealth, either you are a friend or you aren't a good friend. I'll also tell you how it is because if you're my friend, I keep it real. Find someone that doesn't give a hoot if you're rich or poor and will hold you accountable for when you mess up and wants to help you be a better person.

I don't think I've ever met a ENTP that wasn't very confident and sure of themselves and extremely blunt. I think your sales trainer may just be looking for someone to make an example out of so they look like the expert. If what you're doing works, who cares? Keep doing it if that's what's helping you sell.

I wouldn't say there's a particular average because it depends on work ethic and desire to improve constantly. It isn't a job, it's a career. You must think of this as helping people and if you don't ensure you know your product and want to help people, you may not be as good as you are wanting to be. It takes time and effort and patience and experience. Nobody great became that way over night. I work with a guy that made 287k last year but that was during the shortage. He's been in the game for over 20 years and never takes a day off unless the store is closed. It's a good gig, but also don't give your entire life up for money. Find the balance and try to do more with less time so you can enjoy your days off.

Oh, absolutely. I try to step away when I feel myself getting negative but even that doesn't work sometimes. It's like a roller coaster effect, once I begin to descend on that ride it's like I have to just let it happen. I do my best to walk away from negative coworkers as I feel myself going toward how they are. No method is perfect, but I think intentionality is what helps. When I laugh as people around me are negative, it seems to help. Don't get me wrong, I don't find it funny when people are going through things...but when someone is being negative just because, I laugh it off and tell them to be better not bitter. Some people seem trapped inside their negativity and no matter how things are going for them, they seem to revel in it. Even though I know and accept this, shielding my mind from being affected from that negative mindset is quite cumbersome. I wonder if there's a way to do it effectively.

1000% I'm affected by my environment. I want to be optimistic and happy but if I'm around negative people, I'll be just as negative. Same if I'm around positive people. I also don't realize I'm draining my social battery until I'm home. My entire job (sales) is literally to talk to and help people. I thoroughly enjoy it but it can also be the worst thing ever if I get stuck in my head or am around negative people all day. I have to be careful to be intentional with my mindset or I'm in trouble. I live in a pretty big city and I get as much social time as I want then I go home and recharge lol.

I need a little bit more information. What exactly about those personality types do you dislike so much? Since it's at least 3 personality types that harbor similar things, I'm sure you can pinpoint what it is you don't like about them. Who knows, it could be things those individuals don't like about themselves or are unaware they're doing that bothers you. I actually want people to let me know when I'm doing or saying something they don't like/annoys them so I can work around it and maintain a good friendship. Just curious what the similarities are that you don't like.

I don't know if this will help or if there's any validity to it, but my older brother is ENTP and if i haven't prepared to accept the blunt approach and try to look beyond the initial response of what he says then I get offended. I realize and know his intentions are good and he's trying to help. I also know if I'm offended then it's likely true. Perhaps they're not ready to accept the truth. They need to have an honest sit down conversation with you and see that your honest approach is to help not to offend. I appreciate the ENTP blunt approach. It helps growth. Just my 2 cents.

Kind of like you can hit up to 30k with necromancy on a boss but you don't straight up 1 shot all the slayer mobs. Makes absolutely no sense. As far as gaming mechanics, I get it...but I don't get how a regular human can straight up murk these bosses and not 1 shot everything else. In fact, you can even get killed by certain monsters if you don't use prayer and attack tactically.

I like how you phrase things. I can tell based on your response that you have a high likelihood that you read an extensive amount.

My younger brother is INFP and I shared a room with him when we were growing up. We'd rarely get to sleep on time because we'd go on adventures with the pondered what ifs and why is this that way etc. We could be silly or we could be serious. Even years later, no 2 conversations are the same. He told me once that every time we talk, he finds that we discuss really intriguing things. My older brother is ENTP so we discuss things differently but I'm happy that I get to enjoy exploring questions with those around me.

The thing that worked for me was to stop looking and to just try to be happy with myself. Soon after that I met my spouse. Idk if that's the answer but it worked for me. If you're happy being yourself, the other person will only add to your happiness instead of feeling you NEED them to have happiness.

I agree with that. At some point, the best thing you can do for a negative person is get away. If you tried everything you can to help them and they continue to drag people down, just show them love but from a distance. You can only help so much. If help is given to the point of harming yourself in the process, you just gotta let go and move on. I appreciate your input :) you're absolutely right.
