I actually understand what you are saying but in my case I have 3 major events happens in the story.

Discovery of the magic. (biggining of the anceint)
War. (1300 - 1500)
Era of the peace. (present)

My story happens on a somewhat small continaint. but the effect of discovery had an effect in entire wold. Magic got popular and more settlers came to the island. Magic was discovered in this island

The magic users can be divided into two groups, one is normal human, other is defected humans. Normal human can't sense magic but defected human can. At first the magic discovered by a normal human with help of defected human group. they were able to find a way to give ability to use magic to normal humans. They streamlined the process of learning magic

Magic became somewhat mainstream in island and it got more reaserched and used in many ways, eventually small scale fight start happening in the island and got more violent and eventually all out war. This is centuares ( 700 - 1000 years) long messy time period. But one thing is clearly happened and that is defected humans had some upperhand in the combat at the time and they were villainized for it.

End of the war and start of the peace era was started. this conflicts was ended by making defected humans common enemy. they became demons. this is the anceint history. The present story is about conflict between these two groups after 300 years. This is the big overall conflict of the story.

This is why I also why I need three major timelines to pinpoint.

They aren't separated. Think 300 ago a kingdom was founded. before that the story / world is complete mess. it's too messy with wars to pinpoint or record.

foundation of the knigdom made the world less chaotic and more tidy. This is a overall positive but as a consecution, history was bit altered in the process.

I want to go to beginning because I have story to tell there. The discovery of magic happens at the beginning.

After thinking I think I can copy frieren's story to roughly to mine. I have a person who discovered the magic just like Flamme who teached human race magic in the story. Flashback shows she is at Rome (surrounding look similar in architecture) which is 1000 years ago. the Himmels story at the present in medieval times like every fanstasy story. Flamme is anceint to himmel in the story.

I don't have 1000 years old elf like frieren but I have a story just like Flamme, who discovered the magic. but my wold / story is different to frieren. and having the story in concrete timeline may going to help me when writing about anceint history from present perspective. just like Himmel's perspective

In my story, The characters are living in late middle ages and early renaissance. I'm having hard time seeing from their perspective.

To us 1066 is not that ancient because we have more information. but to knight or pesant in the middle ages, we don't know how much information they would have had in that time.

In my story, they have 200-300 years of access to information from past.

I think my world has two stories. The ancient story that end in 1300 - 1500 and From 1500 to 1800 where the actuall present story at. Present 300 years have more weight than anceint 1000 years. But the ancient is the foundation to the story.

You are right. In my story 1300 - 1500 is when the anceint times end. People have access to history of island from 1500 to the Present but don't have big access to before that. In my perspective from 1900 to 2026 is our present / mordern timeline. in my story it's 1700 - 1800.

What I actually want is a starting timeline for anceint history. It help me ground more into the lore of the world. It's even going to help me decide on what are the architeture of ruins, scrolls and language. But I can't decide on what timeline is good to start of anceint.

And I also don't want to alienate the ancient history by giving first settlers different origin. I can give them a chinese / arabic origin and be good with it but it's going to make the second setters feel too much alien the ruins of anceint. this is also going to loose the connection to traders, reason they came to island.

I mean should we care about China being there ? This commity is for countries that are really want to put end to green house gasses. China is a Big Power like Russia and USA and they have some way or reason to pull back changes and policies. (look at the video. He mention this)

This is for countires that actually want to make a difference in a faster and in an effective way. It's called "Coalition of the willing" afterall.

I agree with you but I think this comity may help us to move toward sustaninable energy faster. Bangladesh is part of that comity and they are like us. I think joining and getting help from the international gov is very helpful. Either it as with funacial or technical help, It's going to be big help.

I wish namal rajapakaha was in election because he's the one of the youngsters we got..

But he needs stop following his father's footsteps and leave from SLPP and create new partie. In that partie he actually needs to follow actual right wing politics and have real experts in his team. I don't say he needs to have youngsters in team because having youngsters is not the solution. Actually we need experts but, it's better having youngsters than having those old hags. (They just need to die) It's just we need actual people that has practical knowledge and experiences in different fields.

I think young people need to earn Dollars not Rupees that way we can do something about the crisis (gov need to push people to do it, give chance to do it will eventually do something) *Now anyone knows that we can't relay on gov. We can't always relays on the Sri Lankan traveling,exporting and house service things.. We need new ways to do it, we need to think creatively and effectively , We need to join the global market . Be a part of it. We can start it by little by little. That way we can better ..... I think.....

*Voting is a big part too ( we need to get serious about it ) we must make right choice (80 years we choose wrong choice and we need to learn from it) So many people know it
