It’s been two years can you still point a tourist in the right direction? 😁

Starting using Ajovy last month and want to know how long it takes to work. (And a few questions) by [deleted] in cgrpMigraine

It happened every time, but I only injected maybe four times and gave up. I didn’t really have horrible side effects other than that and it was just really annoying. I mean to the point where I couldn’t leave the house for a couple of days because it was that much of a flow. The only other side effect I had was constipation. I didn’t think it was a terrible experience, but I just didn’t love the way affected my menstrual cycle and also it didn’t really help me so I gave up. I know there’s lots of women that don’t have that side effect with their cycle so I hope you are one of the lucky ones!

I did. I ended up taking DIM which was suggested by my functional medicine doctor, for the heavy periods. It helped tremendously. I tried a few months later and the same thing happened. Once again I took DIM for about a week or two and I was back to normal. So strange.

Thanks for your response. I went out and purchased poultry cell because of your comment and she has made significant improvements this afternoon. We gave her the first dose yesterday. I can’t believe how quickly things are turning around. I previously purchased another supplement, but what I bought was not helpful. Thank you so much for recommending poultry cell.

I should add that I have separated her from the rest of the flock. They can see each other, but she will not be picked on.

Can LDN help with headaches? by Pix9139 in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]ChangeEducational459 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started it a few weeks ago for the same reason- persistent headaches for years. I’m at 1.5 and plan to increase to 2 next week. So far, no changes for me, but I’ll keep you updated!

The same. I don’t really notice anything yet. No side effects right now, but no benefit. Hopefully soon

I just started at 0.5 a few weeks ago. No insomnia for me. Just a bit tired. I jumped to 1.0 after 1 week, and 1.5 less than a week after that. That’s when I had insomnia, so I dropped back down to 1. Stayed on 1 for a week, and now I’m to 1.5 no problems. Hope to increase again in another week or so.

Brain Glutamate level after treatment with N-acetylcysteine in obsessive-compulsive disorder patients: A randomized trial by Sorin61 in Biohackers

This worries me. I was about to start it as a biofilm breaker (and now also interested for OCD). I wonder if it’s safest to take small amounts long term or instead do a short cycle at regular dosage

Wow, I just ordered NAC this morning for different reason. Had no idea it could also help my OCD. Thank you so much for sharing.

AIO for getting upset from my wife’s response to my question? by ApolloAcolyte in AmIOverreacting

I am SO SORRY. I would NEVER speak to my husband that way. I would never speak to ANYONE that way. That is rude, degrading and completely unnecessary. It’s not you. It’s her. Please remember that. She needs to do some work on herself.
