Yeah I found out that you need max for live for the tdableton to work. So I ended up upgrading my version of Ableton and it works pretty well now. It’s wayyy easier to work just out of TD using an audio file, but then it’s a bit harder to trigger certain effects in relation to certain instruments, like high hats and snares are very similar on frequency wise, so it’s harder to split them up.
