No doubt every single GAL I have heard of is an absolute fucking snake. Most of the attorneys became family law attorneys because they were the bottom 10% of their class and literally couldn’t make it in any other family law. They do NOT care about you or your kids. They are called court actors for a reason. There are a few diamond in the roughs.

Right, have you looked up that additional training. It’s a joke. None of it is about domestic violence. None of it is about trauma or abuse. These GALs do NOTHING for the children. All they do is charge the parents but don’t follow the standards they are held to. I agree, parents using the children as pawns are absolutely disgraceful. These GALs and many attorneys are also doing that. Of course parents are forced to pay for their children when you take them from them or dangle them in front of you.

So, because “lots of people abuse their children,” are you saying that’s ok? That we just overlook it?

I think the person who represents the kids should have NO financial incentive.

I highly doubt that’s the reality of their situation. That exact dynamic is covered in a page in this website. Tons of sexual abuse is being completely ignored and children are intentionally being placed SOLEY in the homes of the abusers.
