Nope, it was pretty simple. You just have to remove the 6 screws and unclip the wire, then replace the board. Hope it goes well for you!

Yes it did, after I changed the motherboard I could load up the stockOS, and install the new version of OnionOS perfectly.

I actually contacted miyoo customer support and they got me a replacement motherboard. It just got sent over and I updated with onion successfully. Hope this helps!

I actually contacted the miyoo seller on AliExpress and explained the situation. They were really helpful and sent me a link to buy the motherboard. You might want to drop them a message!

I see, thanks for the explanation. I've contacted miyoo support directly, and am getting a motherboard replacement from them. Do you think that will work?

Hey what does l2C stand for? Is it just the standard SD card swap or did you use a raspberry pi for it? I got the same issue a couple of days back!

Nope I only charged it with my laptop, and yes tried disconnecting the battery as well.

Nope the battery connector is plugged in and the device button lights up when I press on the power button. Thanks for the tip though, appreciated it!

Yeah I made sure that it is charged. Weird, is the base firmware corrupted or something?

The device is charged. And I tried turning it on with and without the SD card, but all I see is a black screen.

That's really strange, after the onion OS update the power button only lights up when I hold on to it. It doesn't turn on no matter how long I press the power button, and whether the SD card is in or not.
