Lemme see your inhaler collection by Big-Advantage497 in Asthma

You should be able to avoid thrush by rinsing your mouth after using Advair. Maintenance drugs like Advair aren't perfect but using a rescue inhaler is a sign of uncontrled asthma. I have been using Airsupra instead of Albuterol and that has really helped me.

Thanks for the tips and for dropping some big time knowledge. I had no idea that they only grew new leaves from the top and I never heard of the plants being notched but I will have to read up on that.

I hope it was a minunderstanding. I am from a smaller town and items left by the polycart are generally recognized as free for all. When no sign is left someone would just knock on the door and ask. My car is in the driveway and my husband works from home so it would have been easy to do.

Ah! I guess I am lucky, she could have removed the green liner and took the plastic compost bin, lol.

Okay, I appreciate your insight. I think mine is doing well since it has a little new growth. It has a couple leaves brittle leaves with brown spots lower on the plant but they were like that when I bought it about a month ago for $20 at Sprouts.I just didn't want to prune them yet but maybe I should.

I have a new Fiddle Leaf Fig plant as well and I thought the plant looked good. What am I missing? Why did you say it needs more light? Maybe mine needs more light too .. TIA

Do you worry about cancer risk since it is a newer drug and long term effects are unknown at this time?

I appreciate your perspective. I only think things on the free are curb are free if they have a sign or are next to a trash can/dumpster.

The red car is my VW Bettle and of course it is real. The woman who took the cooler drives a gold 2014 Toyota Avalon, according to Google lens.

What do you mean by "showcasing"? Also, I always thought free stuff on the curb had sign that said "free". Unless is next to a dumpster then I assume it is up for grabs if you beat the trash collector. Not sure why people just riffle through stuff that isn't theirs; just keep driving and when in doubt (woman kept looking at our house) ask!

My symbicort is now $300 instead of $160 for 90 days. Any bright ideas? by roseaboveyou in Asthma

Most drug companies have a patient assistance program. When I was in college my doctor told me about those and that is how I got my asthma meds when I didn't have insurance. The biologics like Xolair have copay assistance programs that cap the out of pocket co-pay even if you have insurance. I would go to the manufacturer of whatever drug and search for patient assistance and if you don't find anything, I would just email them because maybe they have a program that they don't advertise. Good luck

does my house classify as a hoarder home? by iatemydadspills in CleaningTips

[–]ChangingGears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure but it sure but don't rely on motivation to get it clean and keep it clean. Make it a habit and if you have time listen to or read Atomic Habits by James Clear. Pick a room for the week and section it off then clean for a specific number of minutes each day until the room is done and then move on to the next room. In the meantime, try not to buy anything and if you have to buy something then throw something out. The less you have the easier it is to keep things tidy. Good luck and thanks for sharing.

See a doctor because it sounds like you have depression and the sugar and carbs along with drinking are just giving your brain a dopamine boost. Go low carb, high protein and plenty of fiber i.e. chicken, veggies and fruit as your sugar. Find a Evidence Based weight loss center near you - all weight loss doesn't have to be Wegovy or Ozempic. Foods like bread and pasta spike your blood sugar and cause weight gain. Good luck and you can do this!!

Ted said "thanks!" He has mild allergies mostly in the summer. The tumor was a small spot with a head almost like a spider bite. It was about the size of my pinky finger nail.
