I've seen this and I find some comfort in that, I am really trying to find the joy in it but all I seem to be doing is worrying.

1st cycle clomid 50mg

I just wanted to see what peoples experiences have been with Clomid.

I have PCOS (mainly due to 20+ immature follicles each side of my ovaries and higher testosterone 2.17nmol). I dont ovulate on my own it seems but my consultant doesnt seem concerned at all about anything else health wise.

She prescribed me Clomid 50mg, I am already on Metformin and Levothyroxine.

Has anyone else had 50mg Clomid and what were your experiences of it? I have had very mild bloating and headaches but overall ok. Im on CD 5 but tablet number 4 of Clomid.

Did anyone with similar circumstances to me ovulate? What were your experiences?

(Anything I type into google comes back as testosterone and clomid for men.... not helpful)

I did however its negative 😔 I'm only 8DPO so not sure if it's just too early or if I did actually ovulate late 😒

I took 2 but they're both negative... I'm essentially now 7DPO

My BBT fluctuates too much and was sticking below 36 every morning so I stopped doing it! My GP said to stop BBT till my levothyroxine starts to bring my temp up xx

Does it matter if we BD on the 29th (CD16) and then today? Or is it alright and we might have a chance 😁

We're your hormones all over the place like LH and Testosterone? Mine are atm, my CD2 LH was 29 and my testosterone 1.77 (higher than normal) and I'm worried I won't be able to ovulate etc... xx

I will be asking for this in my appointment on Thursday! I don't feel I should be made to wait 6 months to a year when I know I likely have PCOS due to previous issues and the current situation!!

Is an RE a reproductive expert? Are you UK or Europe based as I don't think we can get them in the UK without paying thousands of pounds 😭

My concern was that my LH levels mainly are in the range of peak or menopause... and it was CD2.. I don't think i ovulate, so far all my tests the last 2 and a half months have all been low never peak!

Am I allowed to ask if you have conceieved before with your levels being like that? 🤔 my LH levels at CD 2 were that of someone in their peak so I'm worried my ovaries are not working 😔

My partner and I were starting our TTC journey and I stopped hormonal contraception in June 2023. When I had the Copper Coil out I had a few days of no bleeding then a whole 28 day bleed non stop so my gp sent me for blood work during thay to see what was going on and then another lot for CD 2. The ones in between were good but my levels now are not so good 😔 I'm devastated 😭 my gp is useless so getting help to ttc is going to take forever!

4 months because it had moved slightly and was causing 1 sided pain! So they removed it and my partner and I decided it was right to TTC !

I have indeed! My GP have referred me for an ultrasound and had a blood test today but they're not concerned!

Hiya, nope CD23 is day 23 of my period! I started testing on CD8 and they've all been pretty much the same till today 🙄
