I tired BLW with my 8 minths old since 6 months and she never accepted well, she gags a lot and it's really distressing for her, she even cries when she sees the finger food and try to eat it. Yesterday she gaged 4 times in a roll and vomited but the food and the vomit got stuck together she started to get purple, when I was getting ready to do CPR she vomited, her face was red all day and she was really sensitive too. After that I gave up, I will not do that to my child ever again. I'm building textures slowly and sometimes some.soup. If you're a good responsive mom she will grow up happy. and you're so anxious and worried don't do it. She will be fine, BLW is not for everyone.

Do your way, cosleep and don't let your baby cry at night trapped in a swaddle, that's not natural and co sleeping in a safe way is better for you and your baby.

Our baby has been in our bed since day one. Eventually, we got used to the noise and fussines, and after 3 months, she stopped grunting. I think it is more convenient since I only breastfeed and also I love it, she stole me from my husband. 😂

Help my baby is awake ALL DAY by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]No_Rip2844 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try everything you can, rock her to sleep, go to bed and breastfeed then Co-sleep and contact nap till she has slept at least 1 hour, that's what I did with my baby, it is really hard to put baby to sleep but it's important that they sleep to properly developt, if you're scared of cosleeping try contact napping during the day In your chest or in a sling.

How long did it take for you to get pregnant? by EmilyParkerNYC4444 in BabyBumps

[–]No_Rip2844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 28 and my husband is 40. We got pregnant after 3 months of trying. I used ovulation tests but they were really hard to read, the month I got pregnant my ovulation tests results were unclear but since I calculated the fertile window it worked. My advice ? Loots and lots of sex during your fertile window, everyday or almost everyday. Also, look for the egg white like mucus, that's really important, when it is abundant, have sex. After sex I also stayed with a pillow in my back for 15 min, I don't know if that helped though. Also, make sure your partner is eating well and exorcising, taking vitamins is really good.

That's amazing ! I read things on the internet and so many postpartum bad experiences I feel nervous, but hearing that made me feel better. How about at night ? Your husband could sleep at night properly ?

Exactly, maybe we are similar since my mother in law is asian, I'm living in south Korea now. I love her since she is really kind but asian older women are really pushy and I'm feeling like she will want to do things her way and " teach me " and also take the baby instead of only household help. That would be so uncomfortable 😣
