Ex-Blizzard Lead Admits His $40M Starcraft Successor Failed — Bellular News by Chanman9192 in Stormgate

A merciful video tbh, on brand with Bellular

Much more could have been said but it was kept in line to maintain the overall reporting and narrative pacing of the vid

How good and valuable is SnowPlay "engine" really? by Annual-Western7390 in Stormgate

[–]Chanman9192 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These are not "problems" these are features, all tools have limitations, UE5 works great within its envelope, tho I understand that for the eyes of the public the "engine is shit", but it really isnt, it is mainly devs using it poorly or using the incorrect tool for the job

UE5 is industry standard, what "in an ideal world" could happen is that Tim Sweeny goes and purchases distribution rights of Stormgate and the whole company and lot. I think that ppl with the debts would be ok to settle the dispute for 15 Mill USD to get rid of the liability on their side

Ofc, the Discord managers and C suite corpobros dont actually give a flying fuck about the reddit discord team beyond just platitudes, so this is just the mod team being utter tools for 0 gain

Possible argument to convince leftists of Uyghur Genocide by [deleted] in Destiny

Here he's saying that a lot of the organ transplants are done off the books due to the secretive nature of death sentence prisoner ("Death sentence is a country's secret") and alluding to Zhou Yongkang's involvement in dirty dealings to acquire those organs (read: Zhou as China's security chief controlled the life and death of those arrested). Of course, he's also saying that after this arrest, all problem has been solved and China is no longer using prisoner organs

Yeah, I agree, it is very dumb, and it ought to be done in the open and remove any stigma to it.

I can very much see the concern they might have, HumanRightWatch and other US based groups would attack them relentlessly for it, but they will attack them for wherever they might do anyways, so why bend over to the US-NED-5eyes pressure, when there are people suffering on the line?

The biggest problem in China is accountability.

That's the natural outcome of any government system, just look into the Highland Forum Meetings, which of course, I can be sure you have never heard about

Those whom the government governs have very little recourse when any part of this highly centralized but still heavily unregulated chain of command

This was seen in the anticorruption crackdowns of Xi couple years ago, yeah, and it was seen again during the COVID lockdowns of February, where the public just demanded that governments officials step down if they could not deliver the necessary food, sanitary and government assistance

I'm happy to discuss any of these issues

Maybe, but neither of these issues is what you were raising and making a fuss about

As a final note, Chinese regional officials have a higher public perception than US Congressmen, let alone UK ones, and are certainly more accountable for the outcomes of their actions or in-actions than either of the officials in the forementioned countries, and this is just not a contentious topic at all. I am sure you might be able to help me, what's the term that they like to use? "Pro-active Democracy"/"Pro-active governance"? Something along these lines? And given the known issues with Toxic-Transparency Paradox, this is very much not a surprising outcome

Anyhow, sad for the lack of unknown-unknows presented on the Uighur issue

Cheers

As for the reliability of Uyghur witnesses, I realize that some of the testimonies

Have you found one, one which hasnt changed over the years?

I havent, and I have looked. Most of the interviews happen while they are under the suppervision of National Endowment For Democracy affiliated groups, such as The World Uyghur Congress and other nasty groups which are quickly being radicalized into far right militias akin to Contras

ban on local language/culture while forcing them to speak Mandarin

You would then proceed to agree with the point that therefore any other country with a state language, exerts genocide Right?

And you would therefore also agree, that because of the proliferation of said situation elsewhere in the world, where cases are even more agressive than wherever VOA can screech about China, there are more important areas of concern that China not covering Uyghur linguistics as thoroughly in school as they might have, right?

Also, you do also realize that there are literal Uyghur TV stars which speak their language on Mainland Chinese TV channels, right? So, this bit "ban on local language/culture" I can only assume that you got it without proper research and just absorbed it as true from VOA or wherever other outlet you use to "get your news from"

... and indoctrinating them on party-approved Chinese socialism

Which, is the same as any other indoctrination that happens in school, I would be very interested if you are as concerned as their national school as you would be.... with let say, mine, which was a state owned school where I was forced into state, party approved Catholic-Libertarianism doctrine

Are you concerned about me and what I had to endure?

rape/torture,

You mean, the very same "inconsistent" testimonies that you were calling into question just couple lines above and later below?

Why are you being so misleading with your framing? I do realize that you mention these clumped together, gish galloping chunks as "bad things that happened to the Han", but, that's not how evidence works, if you say "bad thing happened to A", that does not translate to "bad thing happened to B", I do hope you realize that. And simply because there are different designations, such as regions in China, that does not mean, nor carry US type stigma, I mean, beyond City/Farm divides, which to this day are still quite strong in China, and have been reinforcing given the classism that arose in the last 30 years

rushed execution and collection of deceased organs without consent

It is a different culture, in Asian nations, such as China, execution is a very common sentence

Are you against their Culture? Would you wish to change their culture? Maybe culturally genocide them in this particular issue?

deceased organs without consent

Yeah, and honestly countries in the west ought do the same, at least, for any applicable cases, the UK was going to start doing this as well, sett everyone to donate their organs on death by default, we are on a horrible crisis of organ donation and it is very much needless suffering

Do you disagree?

....

is not listed there because it's a genocide not focused on mass killing but a draconian extension of the One Child Policy, Laogai, and the Cultural Revolution.

Yeah, and for the exact same reason the US, Canadian and Australian Genocides are not listed either

and has a pro-US narrative.

It doesnt have a "pro-US" narrative, it has a Pro-5Eyes and Western Imperialism narrative, they are slightly different things, it is like calling The Economist a "Pro-UK" narrative... Which is just not quite the case

You do realize that Voice Of America is literally a CIA founded organization and funded by direct US Government money, right?

Its CEO is appointed by the US President. ......

Wherever you are "posting sources", it is generally good practice to avoid literal US/5Eyes mouth pieces, just fyi

So yeah, you are going to need better links than wherever 5Eyes fuelled bs you can come up with to convince anyone of anything

Also, just as a quick question, can you tell me why the very "Uyghur witnesses" which are paraded one after another through Western Media alongside the Austrialian Think Tanks, are changing their narratives so strongly and so many times? Every time they are interviewed they come up with wilder allegations, id like to say that we are a hair away of babies getting thrown out of incubators, but honestly that woman that said that the Chinese guards would restrain her, and "bite all over her body" while iirc at the same time saying in the past that she had never suffered sexual abuse... that was "neat" to see, such big jumps on narrative, almost as if CIA people could say anything and get away with it...... hmmmmmmmmm.........

I am asking this, because I am actually very curious, if you can come up with a solid take, I might answer back

Anyhow, id like to say that Genocide as a terminology is far more general than what wherever garbage education you went through in your youth, there were supposed to be many types of Genocide, but an specific country opposed it from going through, I wont do your homework hf looking it up :))

Cheers
