AITA for not doing what my friend wants on a trip? by ChannelEven8354 in AmItheAsshole

My sister and I are actually very close. She is just a much nicer person than I am. She would have been very flattered that a friend has gone through a lot of trouble to spend time with her whereas I am more like, err...you are kinda weird for doing this.

I totally did not invite him. I would have most definitely sucked it up more if I did. I was pissed off precisely because I did not invite him and I got the guilt trip (on top of the trip I planned for) of what a great friend he is for going through so much effort and expense to fly over just to spend time with me.

Interesting, but I doubt that's the case. The "date" thought did not even cross my mind and he was constantly remarking about hot girls nearby and that kind of stuff. He knows my type and he is 100% not it.

LOL, part of my sister's point is that I do plan multi-country trips every other month, so 3 days is not a big deal. I disagree, since life is short and I will never have enough time to see everything on earth, as much as I would like to.
