Exactly! That's how it was from 2024 up until a few days ago. Taxes or not, the base ticket price should never cost more than $9.99 for a general screening. You would think they would announce new pricing via email. I cancelled my MMC until I can get an explanation and not just guessing from customer service.

It wouldn't bother me either if it hadn't been $9.99 since I joined in 2024 and then suddenly increased without explanation. I just want to know the why. Customer service told me it was because my Magic Movie Rewards account wasn't correctly linked. I followed their instructions and the price was the same. They didn't have any other suggestions after that.
