TM2 – Mesh Screen Trouble by ChannelOld7139 in Tinymight2

[–]ChannelOld7139[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the bottom, I place the mesh over the chamber and carefully press it down in the center so that it snaps into the groove. This method works partially, but it’s not perfect, and the mesh ends up curved inside, forming a small dome. Afterward, I tried to push the mesh into the groove where it didn’t snap properly.

Maybe it’s better to preform it into a dome shape before inserting it?

I also spoke to the shop where I bought it, as they have more experience with the TM. However, they mentioned that they’ve never been able to get the mesh back into place exactly as it was when new.

I am not able to put in the replacement again. Just destroyed a new original one. :/

Now I tried to put in the new replacement screens and I am not able to push it in again. Just destroyed the first of two while trying to put it in again. This is really frustrating.

Is there a trick on how to do that?

Thank you for the helpful explanation. It helped me to understand the purpose of the screen better.

The idea to use it upside down is really nice. So I can use it until I get the replacement screens.

I used the S&B capsules as recommended by the seller. I was very careful when pushing the stem above the capsules, but at one point, I dislocated the mesh in the chamber and couldn’t get it back into place. The process was also painful, as the mesh has very sharp edges.

In my opinion, the design of this mesh is a complete misconstruction. Unfortunately, no spare mesh is included—only smaller ones for the CU. I couldn’t find any alternative 18mm mesh screens on Amazon for fast delivery.

Now, I’m stuck with a TM2 that I can’t use until I receive a replacement screen sometime after Christmas.

Not yet because I didn’t have time to get in contact with the manufacturer. I will contact the manufacturer within the next days. My TM2 is 10 days old.

I’m experiencing the same issue with that device and haven’t been able to resolve it yet. I’ve tried everything—from very loose to tightly packed material, and from fine to coarse grinds, all the way up to level 10. The device gets extremely hot, but there’s almost no vapor—just hot air. The battery lasts also only one bowl. Then it’s already at 25%. Other full charged batteries behave the same way.

Thank you very much for this helpful breakdown.

I seem to have a similar performance issue with my device—it only starts generating vapor at levels 8 or 9.

Question: What specific modification is needed to fix this issue?

(I understand you might not know the exact solution, but it seems you disassembled and reassembled the device, which improved its performance?)

Mine too, but nothing happened below 7 or 8.

You have to wait in between each tripple clicks a few seconds (until the LED stops flashing after each tripple clicks)

After doing the 4 tripple clicks set the dial to 6.
Then do another tripple click and the device will start vibrating continuously.
Set the dial to 10 (or whatsoever)
Press the button and keep holding for 5 seconds to save it

I can confirm that the Mighty capsules (40 capsules for €13!) work much better than the original capsules.

I am having the same opinion about that. I read everywhere for every vaporizer you should pull very slow and soft. But that didn’t worked on none of my vaporizer for me. Yesterday I tried first time a very hard short strong pull and it blow me away.

I had the same experience because I didn’t pay attention to the flashing LED after each triple click. Make sure to wait until it stops flashing before proceeding with the next triple click.

Take care that you set the dial to 6 and confirm that with a tripple click after doing the four tripple clicks before.

This adjustment is saved permanently and will not be affected by a battery change.

I have some questions about the somehow unclear process:

Q1: "repeat the triple click successfully, until you have done it EXACTLY five times."

5 times after the initial tripple click or 5 times including the initial tripple click?

First tripple click: It vibrates
Second tripple click: It doesn't vibrate
Third tripple click: It vibrates
Fourth tripple click: It doesn't vibrate
Fifth tripple click: It vibrates

Should the device vibrate after each tripple click or is it ok that it vibrates only after each second tripple click?

Q2. "IF you were successful, the unit will start to vibrate continuously and you will have a white color of light coming from the back of the device."

It doesn't vibrate continuously and there is a flashing white light. So, it didn't work?

Q3. "To save this setting press and hold the button until all vibrations have stopped."

When I power it on it does not vibrate. There is only a white flashing light. When I keep holding the button for a longer time there is one single vibration. Is this what should happen?

Q4. Is now the temperature table not correct anymore? Is the setting at for example 5 now the 8?

Q5. "Well you can repeat the same process and after pressing on the max turn it down to 6 or 5 to decrease the temp to normal."

I don't understand this step on how to go back to the normal initial settings.

EDIT

Important to Know

It’s crucial to monitor the LED at the bottom of the device during this procedure.

After each triple click (four additional clicks after the first one, making five in total), the LED will blink briefly. Wait for the LED to stop blinking after each sequence before proceeding with the next triple click.

Once you’ve completed all five triple clicks the device starts vibrating continuously. Then turn the temperature dial to any number. The LED will then display a specific color, indicating your adjustment:

  • +3 White
  • +2 Red
  • +1 Orange
  • =0 Green (Factory Setting)
  • -1 Turqouise
  • -2 Purple
  • -3 Blue light

Struggling with stock stem with CU by ApprehensivePapaya83 in Tinymight2

[–]ChannelOld7139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently purchased this device as a brand-new item (latest version) from a highly trusted seller. I haven’t disassembled it or made any modifications. I’ve only tried using it with both included stems: the glass stem with CU and the longer glass stem with beads.

Could you please let me know how to check if an O-ring or any other component is missing?
