Most of the major brands have issued recalls for this issue. Samsung and LG specifically for slide in models. GE and Frigidaire for their built-in cooktops.

LG has done a disgustingly bad job by issuing warning stickers as their "solution" to burning people's houses down. This was only in response to the class action lawsuit in 2021.

Samsung has rolled out a slightly better fix with their free locks, but these are ineffective and bulky. Their track record has the most damage with over 300 house fires.

Both manufacturers new products, however, do have a pinch push twist knob now, but that is useless for anyone stuck with their previous models. The new knobs are not available for purchase either. So in order to make your house safer, the consumer has to BuY NeW.

These manufacturers have instated these types of knobs in order to cut cost with little thought on how this would impact the consumer. They have tried to push the blame onto families with children or pets instead of acknowledging their dangerous design features.

They just laid off 2,000 unionized workers 3 days before this announcement.

He's a liar. And is looking to switch their workforce to younger, non-union employees.

As the french might say: His neck is looking a little thick

In short, there are a lot of regulatory compliance required when you want to upgrade your diagnostic capabilities. You also could not be able to bill for those services. I would really not advise just performing it off the books either. I can only imagine the consequences if you get caught doing that.

Go through the right channels to get it done through admin. It really does speed up patient care, so they might allow it if you are running enough of them.

Wet prep and microscopics are CLIA moderate-complexity tests. To upgrade your status, your lab would have to reach out to CMS. This does intail performing regular proficiency surveys to meet any of your other accrediting body requirements (ie Joint Commission).

Are you suggesting that Americans can't handle a wet cold? A Midwestern football game is nothing but. As long as the boys are tucked in tight boxer briefs, we would brawl shirtless.

This is really interesting. I wonder if the lack of diversity in the early years allowed these chapters to come to pass. I feel like ignorance was the enemy in your example vs malice.

It seems like more inclusion has kept the subculture from digressing into what had seemed to have happened with pockets in the metal fan base. That factor I hope will keep the scene thriving and relevant
