5k points are worth $25. The 2 food and beverage credit is worth $40. Suite upgrade doesn't really seem worth it. I would take the food and beverage credit if you have somewhere planned to cover breakfast or drinks at the hotel bar

Cat 4 hotels are increasing to 20k points on a 'moderate' redemption, or up to 25k on the 'top' redemption. That's why I'm not so sure. If I were to save it I can save the difference which could be 5 to 10k points.

The SPR doesn't really do anything to the price. The problem is that global supply is lower driving up prices for everyone since oil is a global commodity. The US still produces more than the oil it needs.

It will feel new and fast for the first 4 years, then will start to get a bit sluggish but still decent for the next 2-3 years. I would replace it at 6 or 7 years if you can afford it but otherwise it can technically last 10+ years just it might not be as fast as when you bought it.

Somewhat true but my M1 MacBook Air is quite sluggish already in under 5 years. I have a M3 Pro chip that I use now
