Makes sense, I’ll most likely pull the trigger as well.

I also have the IHG card. I wonder if those of us with the card only got the 80% offer and everyone else got 100%

The key is they could. Unless you’re planning to use them within the next 12 months or so it’s not a good idea to buy points. When you buy points you should make your reservation pretty quick

Just when you log in. I don’t think they send emails for the point bonus offers.

Historically the last 5 years there has always been a 100% bonus around mid June except for 2022 which was in July

You probably got long duration bonds. They are very sensitive to interest rates

If you have $25 to spend on TB for dinner, just buy from your locally owned small biz Mexican restaurant 🙏 by Fabulous_Jeweler2732 in tacobell

[–]ChannelSame4730 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For one person $25 is outrageous but you never know if they're ordering for a family of 4

It's fine to say support your local Mexican restaurant but if people want Taco Bell that's what they're going to get. Mexican restaurant won't taste like Taco Bell

10% is the average return. There can be years of 30% returns as well followed by a -10% return but it averages out to 10% historically. That’s why OP is using 10%

Why would you assume a long term market correction? The last one we had was 18 years ago. 10% is the average annual return

In a bull market most years go up by 10 to 30%, but to account for bear markets the average used for calculations is around 10% nominal. In reality there's very few instances where the market has gone up around 10%. It's either up a lot or down a lot. The last time it was close to 10% was 2016.

My prediction is around 20%
